Nihan Sencar tests poker software for a living. She worked as a QA engineer before poker — the kind who reads the changelog, the permissions list and the terms of service before the marketing page — and that is still exactly how she approaches a tracker, a solver, a HUD, or anything else that sits between a player and a table.
Her reviews follow a fixed shape. What the tool does. What it actually costs once you account for the subscription tier people really end up needing. How much machine it wants. How well it holds up across a long session rather than a demo. And — the part most reviews skip entirely — what the poker rooms' terms of service say about running it. That last section is not decorative. The distance between software that is merely allowed and software that will get an account closed and a balance confiscated is the most expensive thing a player can misunderstand, and Sencar states it plainly, including for products she otherwise rates well.
She plays small stakes, mostly as a test harness for whatever she is reviewing, and says so rather than implying more. She has no interest in arguing that a prohibited category of software is secretly fine, and equally no interest in pretending such tools do not exist or that readers are not already searching for them.
